Home Delivery

We bring the library to you! The Peters Township Public Library offers delivery to members who are unable to come into the library due to temporary or permanent physical, visual, or other limitations. Library materials are selected, delivered, and picked up by volunteers. The items can include large and regular print books, audiobooks, Playaways, DVDs, CDs, and magazines.

Book Recommendations

Book Bundles (1)

Let us find a bundle of books for your young reader based on their reading level and interests. Complete our online form and we will pull up to 10 books for your reader and place them on hold for you.

Looking to prepare your child for kindergarten and have no idea where to start?  Use our online form to indicate the topics you would like to work on with your child and we will pull the resources for you!

Looking for a few good book recommendations?  PTPL Find-A-Book has got you covered!  Just tell us your three favorite reading genres and possibly the title of a book you recently enjoyed.  Our staff of reading experts will send you our top 3 picks.

(Please note:  This service is geared towards our older readers (Tween to Adult); if you are interested in children's book resources, please check out our Children's Book Bundle or our Express K Pickup request forms.)

Proctoring

Please read our proctoring policy (located on the form page) in full and verify it complies with your educational institution's requirements before submitting a proctoring request form.  Test proctoring at the library is by appointment only and subject to staff availability.  Library staff will directly supervise the test-taker at the beginning and end of the exam and conduct periodic checks throughout the exam but cannot monitor the test-taker continuouslyStudents must make proctoring arrangements at least 72 hours in advance. Quiet study areas may not always be available. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that the physical facilities are adequate for their test taking requirements and that their institution will accept the library’s proctoring guidelines.

Book-a-Librarian

Our free Book-a-Librarian sessions are personalized 45 minute one-on-one lessons about library resources and technology. Appointments range from exploring library e-resources to training on Makerspace equipment, covering one topic or piece of Makerspace equipment per appointment. You can also book an appointment to earn a Makerspace Certificate. Please limit appointments to one per person, per month.

Study Rooms

  • Five study rooms are available on the 2nd floor for quiet reading / studying. Each room comfortably seats 6 people.
  • Study Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no study room reservations.
  • Patrons must sign in with library staff and have a WAGGIN Library card in good standing to use a Study Room.
  • There is a two hour limit if all rooms are full and patrons are waiting
  • You must be high school age and above OR a minor accompanied by an adult to check out a Study Room.
  • No open drinks, meals, or messy foods are permitted. Small snacks and drinks in closed containers are allowed.
