As a public service, the Peters Township Public Library provides proctoring for written and online exams.
Library staff member Peter Stamoolis is available to proctor exams most Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9:00 am and 4:45 pm and Thursdays between 1:00 and 8:45 pm. No proctoring is scheduled over weekends. Arrangements for proctoring must be made well in advance by calling 724.941.9430 ext.5767 or visiting Mr. Stamoolis on the second floor of the library.
Patrons requesting test proctoring must have a valid WAGGIN library card to login to library computers or to use a quiet study room. It is the responsibility of the test taker to ensure that all materials necessary for taking the exam have been received by Mr. Stamoolis prior to the time arranged to take the exam.
On the day of your exam, you will report to Mr. Stamoolis with your current photo identification. The library has public computers you may use to take an online exam or you can bring your own laptop. Study rooms are available if need to take a written exam. Exams must be completed 15 minutes prior to the library closing.
If provided with a postage paid USPS envelope, the library will mail completed exams to the testing institution. The library can also scan and email answer sheets if needed.
We are unable to allow the installation of special software that may be needed to complete an exam. Technical support is not available unless there is a problem with a library computer used for test taking.
To cover the cost of staff time to schedule, supervise, and return completed exams, a minimum donation to The Peters Township Library Foundation of $20 per exam is suggested.
